The salon says hair has no race or gender, and its team aims to provide gender-affirming and empowering services. It describes its own service as superior, based on years of experience. The team's stated aim is to make every client feel comfortable with their hair, whatever its texture.

A visit starts with the front desk, which can help clients who are unsure what they need and match them with a suitable stylist. Clients are encouraged to bring photos, message their stylist before the appointment, and share their hair history and the products they use. Color and specialty services can be combined when booking, though prices and appointment times depend on the stylist. Cancellations need 24 hours' notice, and clients more than 15 minutes late may be asked to reschedule. Refunds are available if the desired result is not achieved and the salon is contacted within two weeks, and product returns are accepted within 30 days with a receipt. Children must be 13 or older to receive service unless a stylist approves otherwise.
