Lightning Hair Co. by Lexi is run by Lexi Krouse from a suite on Granite Drive in Rocklin and serves clients in the Rocklin area. The studio centers on color, cuts and NBR extensions, with blonding, lived-in color and extensions as her main specialties. Hours are Tuesday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm.

Krouse began doing hair in 2020. She first worked at the Flagship Salon, the headquarters of NBR, and later joined the internal NBR team to support other artists. She then spent two years in Laguna Beach serving Orange County clients before moving back to the Sacramento area to launch her own brand, Lightning Hair Collective.

The studio's goal is to help clients feel more confident and to offer a practical answer to hair challenges. Clients who do not want added hair are welcome and receive the same attention as extension clients.

Before a visit, clients complete an intake form, which is required before a consultation call can be set up. Submitting the form does not guarantee an appointment. Color clients get an in-depth consultation at the start of their scheduled appointment. Quotes may not match the final total after services, and some services may require a non-refundable retainer to hold a booking.

Custom color and cuts planned to keep the hair healthy, with clients' wishes and realistic expectations shaping each plan.
