The salon serves clients of all genders, ages, ethnicities and hair textures. It describes itself as an active ally of the LGBTQ+ community and as promoting diversity. Its menu is built around curly hair and Afro-textured hair, and covers cuts, color, fades, waxing, shaving, smoothing and straightening, relaxers, permanent waves and Afro styling.
Clients book by appointment, with hours on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday that vary by day, and the salon is closed on Sundays and Mondays. Cancellations made within 48 hours of an appointment are charged the full service cost. A consultation, in person or online, costs $25 and is credited toward a later service. It covers the cut, color or chemical service being considered, expected results, timing, pricing and product. Balayage, bleach and tone, and fashion color all require a consultation before booking.
The Afro Styling service includes a hair assessment, shampoo and conditioning, detangling, a blow out with a comb attachment, then the cut and styling. The short version starts at $85 and the medium and long versions are $95 and $110. Final pricing depends on how much time detangling takes. Shaving services use a straight razor with hot lather, oils and a hot towel, for a full head or only the nape and sideburns.
