It now runs two salons: one in the Northgate and Maple Leaf area of north Seattle, across from a Safeway and a short walk from Sound Transit's Northgate Station, and one in Kent, close to Starbucks and Dick's Burgers. Since November 2018, stylists in North Seattle have worked as independent professionals inside the salon, setting their own prices and timing. The salon works with both employee stylists and chair renters. Online menu prices are starting rates, and final fees are set at a consultation. Haircuts are scheduled for 45 to 90 minutes depending on the stylist.

Training is a central part of the salon. The Vasuda Cosmetology Apprentice Program (V.C.A.P.) is a state-approved program for training stylists, and the salon offers an apprenticeship for candidates licensed in another state or country. Stylists take weekly advanced training and ongoing workshops. Applicants go through a screening interview and a technical audition before joining, and the salon says its stylists are licensed professional cosmetologists in Washington State.

Hours are Tuesday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday and Monday visits are by appointment only. Appointments can be booked online at any hour, or by asking the salon for help or for multiple bookings. Text lines are available for both the Seattle and Kent locations.

The salon has also done community work. It has donated services to Harriet Tubman Shelter, Chrysalis Center and Mary's Place, supported families affected by chronic illness with donations of haircare, skincare, makeup, wigs and styling tools, and raised funds for Hurricane Katrina victims and for Red Cross efforts in Japan.

Pairs texture-specific cleansing and conditioning with a consultation before chemical services, and uses Olaplex to help limit damage from those services.

The space feels relaxed and professional, and it welcomes men, women and families of all backgrounds.
