Kay has more than 25 years of hairdressing experience. Kay trained in salons in London's West End, worked there for several years, and later owned a salon on the Big Island of Hawaii. Kay then returned to the Bay Area and worked at several salons in San Francisco before running this studio.

The services cover color work, including all-over color, root touch-ups, gloss and toner, and full or partial highlights and balayage, which is painted on individual strands for a soft, sun-kissed finish. Cuts are priced at a flat rate, and the salon also offers keratin and Brazilian blowout treatments that gently relax curls and add smoothness and shine. Keratin treatments last three to five months, and express blowouts last about six weeks.
