Kay

Kay is the owner and sole stylist at Kay Does Hair in Oakland, and has more than 25 years of styling experience. She trained in the salons of London's West End and worked there for several years before moving to California.

She later owned a salon on the Big Island of Hawaii, then returned to the Bay Area and worked at several salons in San Francisco. She works across color, keratin treatments and blowouts.

She focuses on long layers, sun-kissed highlights and shine treatments, and also creates fun, punky looks. She aims to help clients look and feel their best. Kay is BARBICIDE-certified.
