Juxtapose Hair Studio describes itself as a boutique hair studio in Baltimore. Services take place in a cozy suite designed for one-on-one appointments, and the studio says it aims to give each client individual attention.

Services are organized as four packages. The Manicure Package includes expert toning, a precision haircut and a signature blowout, takes 1 to 1.5 hours, costs $145 to $200, and is listed for every 8 to 12 weeks. The Maintenance Package is a partial highlight with a custom toner, deep conditioning treatment and haircut, takes 2 to 3 hours, costs $290 to $370, and is listed for every 12 to 16 weeks. The Global Package is a whole-head highlight with the same toner, conditioning and cut, takes 3.5 to 4.5 hours, costs $345 to $555, and is listed one to three times a year.

The Correction Package covers color application, toning, bond builders, nourishing treatments and a professional haircut. It takes six or more hours and is booked only when needed. According to the studio, it is tailored to each client's hair needs. Color is applied with Schwarzkopf Igora in some services.

The studio says it teaches clients how to care for their hair at home, and that its team takes educational courses to keep skills current.

New clients complete a consultation form before booking, and a Zoom consultation can be arranged if needed. A credit card on file secures all appointments. Changes, cancellations and reschedules need 48 hours' notice; the 50% cancellation charge is waived if the client is sick. A no-show or same-day reschedule is charged 100% of the booked services, and arrivals 15 minutes or more late may be rescheduled and charged a fee. The studio may decline an appointment on the spot or request a signed waiver for compromised hair. Children and guests are not permitted during services.
