Jaylo Beauty Studio

Jaylo Beauty Studio is a lash and brow studio in Orlando, run by its founder and artist, Jay Loaiza. The studio says it does not follow beauty trends. Instead, each client gets a signature look designed for them.

Before designing a look, the artist spends time learning each client's features, lifestyle and goals. Services include lash extensions, powder brows, which give a soft, filled-in brow similar to brow makeup, and lip blush, a semi-permanent lip treatment that adds a soft wash of color and defines the natural lip shape. The studio describes lip blush as improving lip symmetry.

Lash memberships come in three tiers. The Classic or YY membership, at $135 per month, gives a natural to wispy look and requires a minimum three-month commitment. The Hybrids or Volume membership, at $159 per month, gives a fuller look that blends classic and volume lashes. The Mega Volume membership, at $179 per month, gives an ultra-full, dramatic look using lightweight multi-fan lashes.

Policies are set out on the website. Changes or cancellations need at least 24 hours' notice, and shorter notice may incur a 50% late cancellation fee. No-shows are charged 50% of the scheduled price. Arriving more than 15 minutes late may shorten the service or move the appointment. Clients are asked to arrive with clean lashes or brows, free of makeup, oils and skincare around the treatment area. Refills need at least 60% lash retention, otherwise the visit is charged as a full set. Memberships are non-transferable and non-refundable once activated. Deposits are non-refundable and go toward the booked service.
