A visit usually begins with a consultation to talk through pricing, maintenance and hair goals. Haircuts are shaped around each client's texture and include a wash and a blow dry, while dry cuts work with natural texture without washing or blow drying, with water or product added as needed. Returning clients can book shorter maintenance appointments, such as bang trims.

Color services cover gloss and toning, root touch-ups, all-over color, partial blonding and balayage, full blonding, and bleach and toning for platinum maintenance. Creative color is custom work for vivid, unconventional shades or placement and begins with a consultation and a deposit. Katie Brown has traveled for advanced education, hair shows and creative inspiration, and has assisted backstage at New York Fashion Week.

The salon also offers a free hair model program for guests who want to take part in content creation, training or education. The stylist chooses the color and style, photos or video may be taken, and a consultation is required first.
