Courses are kept to small groups, with close one-on-one guidance and plenty of practice on models. No prior experience is needed. The Acrylic Basic course runs 4 days at 5 hours a day for $650 and covers nail preparation, product application, acrylic structures, tips and French tips, and a final evaluation. A Pro Russian Manicure course (3 days, $1,100) covers electric file use, Russian manicure, gel leveling, builder gel and under-cuticle application. A Dry Pedicure course (3 days, $1,250) covers biosafety and disinfection, contraindications, callus removal and semi-permanent gel. A Complete Russian Manicure course (3 days, $1,550) adds Rubber Base, Polygel, salon structures, nail design, and nail photography and social media for nail artists.

Course materials depend on the course. Acrylic Basic includes a basic professional kit, study guide, lendable materials during class, a coffee break and one month of follow-up support. The Pro Russian Manicure and Dry Pedicure courses include a professional kit, study manual, practice materials, a coffee break and post-course support. Several courses also include bonus training in nail photography, photo editing and social media content. Completing a course earns a certificate of participation from the academy. The academy states that this certificate is not a license to work. In California, charging for nail services requires a manicurist license from the Board of Barbering and Cosmetology, which is obtained by studying at an approved school and passing the state exam.
