Saera Hur ran a micro salon collective for four years before opening the solo studio. The stated aim is to make room in beauty for people outside mainstream norms, with attention to well-being and identity. The studio describes itself as inclusive and welcomes LGBTQ and POC clients, as well as clients who dress modestly, including those who wear head coverings.

Appointments take place in a private room, and clients can choose how much or how little privacy they want. Quiet, low-sensory appointments are available on request, including for clients who want to read or simply have a calmer visit. There is a small book collection, and clients are welcome to bring their own books.

Cutting ranges from short styles to long hair. Dry cuts for existing clients are booked every eight weeks and do not include a shampoo or style, and they require clean, dry, detangled hair with no hats, hair ties or heavy product on arrival. Color correction is charged at $120 per hour with a four-hour minimum. Olaplex is an add-on to color and is not sold alone, and K18 is available as a color add-on or as a repair treatment.

Booking rules apply equally to every client. Reschedules or cancellations need 48 hours notice, otherwise half of the original service is charged, and arriving more than 15 minutes late counts as a reschedule or cancellation. Consultations and bang trims have no grace period, and late arrivals within the grace period may have their wash or style skipped. Anyone with a cold, cough or other contagious symptoms should reschedule. Consultations are charged in full for no-shows, and adjustment requests must be made within 7 days of the service. New color clients should book a consultation first unless they already know the exact color service. Listed hours are Tuesday through Thursday and Saturday, 9:00am to 5:30pm, and 9:00am to 4:00pm.
