Strand of Sol was started by two friends who met in hair school. The studio describes itself as a salon built on trust, style and helping clients feel their best. It is a small team working by appointment in a suite on the second floor of El Paseo.
The menu runs from quick bang trims and one-length trims to multi-hour color services, with the longest appointments reserved for lightening and corrective work. Color Consultation is offered at no charge for 30 minutes to plan a personalized approach. That consultation is required before Platinum Card, Creative Color and Color Correction. Parking is validated in the El Paseo parking structure.
Booking details matter here. Clients get a 15-minute grace period, and anyone running later than that is asked to call so the studio can decide whether to reschedule. Some deposits are non-refundable and can be used toward one reschedule. Buy Now, Pay Later is available in person for bookings from $50 to $4,000, with approval needed before the appointment. Gift cards come in $50, $75, $100 and $200 amounts or a custom figure, and gift card sales are final.
Visits begin with a plan built around the client, and color work starts with a no-cost consultation so the result fits how they live with their hair.
