Hello Sugar is a hair removal salon and part of the Hello Brands company. It focuses on waxing and sugaring, and also offers laser hair removal, lash and brow services, and enzyme and brightening treatments. Each client is matched to one of four waxes and sugars, and services are adjusted to that person's skin and hair. The salon welcomes women and men, and all skin and hair types.

Visits generally take 15 to 30 minutes, varying by service and body area. Before a waxing or sugaring appointment, hair should be a short length, roughly that of a grain of rice, which usually means two to three weeks of regrowth. Smoothness typically lasts three to four weeks, and most clients come back every four to six weeks. With repeated sessions, hair tends to grow back finer and more slowly. According to the salon, very coarse hair, including men's beard hair, may not be well suited to waxing or sugaring.

Sugaring uses a paste that clings mainly to hair rather than skin, and the salon describes it as often a good option for sensitive skin. Enzyme treatments for the underarms and Brazilian area exfoliate the skin, and the Brazilian version adds cleansing, extractions and a hydrating mask. Brow services include shaping, tinting and lamination, and lash services include lifts and tints; the salon says these brow and lash results hold for six to eight weeks. The salon lists Brazilian (V), brows, underarms, and lip and chin among its most popular services.

Hello Sugar has four locations: the University District and Ballard Blocks in Seattle, Redmond Southeast, and Lynnwood Alderwood. Each location has its own hours and text number, and the salon offers online booking and an app on the App Store and Google Play. Memberships give one service per month for a chosen area and type, with savings of up to 20% on services. Memberships can be used at any location, can be frozen or cancelled at no charge, and unused vouchers roll over.
