The studio is a single room inside Phenix Salon Suites in Redmond, and Missy is both the owner and the only esthetician. Services fall into a few groups: sugar waxing for the face, intimate areas, upper body and lower body; brow and lash work; dermaplaning; and spray tanning.

Sugaring is the hair removal method used for waxing. It removes hair in the direction it grows and also exfoliates the skin. Dermaplaning clears dead skin cells and fine vellus hair, and it does not include a facial cleanse.

Spray tans are custom airbrush applications matched to each client's skin tone. The studio describes its tan formulas as sweat-resistant. The Skin Haus Signature Tan also contains skin-care ingredients, including niacinamide, bakuchiol, orchid stem cells, panthenol and ceramides, alongside DHA. Brides can book a bundle that includes a trial rapid tan and a final rapid tan two to three days before the wedding, and mobile tanning is available for parties and events.

Booking requires a valid card on file and a completed waiver. Appointments are scheduled to start and end on time. Arriving ten or more minutes late can mean a shortened or rescheduled service, and cancellations with less than six hours' notice or no-shows are charged half of the scheduled total. Changes and cancellations go through Vagaro unless there is an emergency. Aftercare is required, and a guide is sent after each visit.
