Services cover waxing and sugaring for men and women on the arms, back, chest, stomach, buttocks, legs and Brazilian area, along with facial hair removal from the brows, lip, chin, cheeks and full face. Clients can pick from four different waxes and sugars. Sugaring uses a paste that removes hair and exfoliates the skin, and the salon describes its sugaring as organic. The Louisville location also offers Brazilian enzyme treatment, intimate lightening, facials, chemical peels, microneedling and dermaplaning. Brow and lash options include brow tints, brow shaping, brow lamination, lash tints and lash lifts, which the salon says hold for six to eight weeks.

According to the salon, its estheticians complete a three-month program to become certified in its sugaring technique, and every esthetician also earns advanced certification in pain-reduction techniques. The salon says its training goes past what aesthetics school covers and that it sets high standards for waxing, cleanliness and customer service. Most appointments run 15 to 30 minutes. Clients are asked to let hair grow to about a grain of rice in length, usually two to three weeks of growth, before coming in. Most clients rebook every four to six weeks. Unused vouchers roll over if a member cannot come in during that month, and the membership can be used at any Hello Sugar location, subject to availability. It is billed monthly, can be canceled at any time without a fee, and can be signed up for online or with a team member during an appointment. Laser services can be added to a plan, and members receive the lowest pricing on laser hair removal. The salon publishes a cancellation and no-show policy and a return and refund policy.

Treatments are tailored to each client's skin and hair. Sugaring is often the choice for sensitive skin, since the paste grips mainly the hair rather than the skin's surface.
