The spa has two locations. Middletown is in the courtyard behind the Village Court sign, and St. Matthews is in the Healthcare Plaza beside Speedy Car Wash. The name Lalai comes from a Thai word meaning to melt.

Massage options run from Thai-inspired stretching, done fully clothed on a floor mat or table, to hot stone sessions using basalt stones heated to 120 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit, reflexology, cupping, and customized sessions. Customized work begins with a consultation and may draw on deep tissue, acupressure, trigger point, and Thai yoga techniques. Couples can book two simultaneous massages in one room with two therapists by choosing Team A or Team B on the scheduling page. Medical massages are eligible for FSA or HSA card payment, with full payment taken at checkout. A 6% sales tax applies to massage services, and a physician's prescription or a referral form from a healthcare provider can waive it.

Head spa clients leave with towel-dried hair and can use a self-style bar; a blowout can be booked separately, depending on availability. Head spa services do not accept hair extensions or sewn-in braids. Bald clients are welcome, and the hair-length price is waived. These treatments do not treat conditions such as psoriasis or dandruff, and the spa recommends consulting a physician for those concerns.

Facial options include a chemical peel facial, dermaplaning, a signature facial, a diamond-tip HydroDiamond treatment, and a micro-current treatment that uses electroporation to deliver serums into the skin. Facial services are performed by trained aestheticians. Face waxing covers brows, lip, chin, and nose, and several areas can be done in one visit. Body waxing covers underarms, bikini, French bikini, Brazilian, full butt, and half or full arms and legs. The spa describes its waxing products as high-quality with strict hygiene standards.

Clients do not walk in, but same-day appointments are available. Book by calling or texting (502) 535-1603 or online. Clients are asked to arrive five to ten minutes early, and late arrivals get a ten-minute grace period. Same-day cancellations and no-shows are charged the full service fee. The spa states it has a zero-tolerance policy toward sexual conduct or inappropriate behavior between clients and therapists. Middletown is open Monday to Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The St. Matthews location is listed as closed on Sundays and Mondays.
