Serge Gauthier bought the salon for his wife, Sonia Gauthier. The couple came to Florida from Montreal, Canada, after a spa day on their honeymoon in Mexico gave them the idea to open something similar.

Visitors find the salon on the left side of the Tommy Bahamas store, up the stairs. The setting is warm and welcoming, and Ziggy, an eight-year-old Australian Shepherd service dog, is the in-house mascot who greets guests.
