Patricia Munro and Eliot Munro co-founded the business after Patricia spent six years at Patricia Marie Salon. Color appointments need a consultation booked by phone beforehand, and highlight appointments must be booked with a toner and Olaplex. Hours are Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday from 9am to 5pm, and Monday, Thursday and Friday from 11am to 7pm. The salon has a published cancellation and no-show policy. Women's haircuts and blowouts booked for delivery need hair washed beforehand.

Delivery appointments in Chicago cover color, haircuts, blowdries, braids, keratin smoothing treatments and extensions. The salon also sells custom kits for pickup only: All-Over Color, Root Touch-up and Hair Toning kits at $65 each, and an Olaplex Treatment Kit at $35.

707 Umbrella Academy is the salon's education program, with weekly classes that combine group sessions and one-on-one instruction.
