The collective aims for a relaxed, unhurried visit with careful technique and styling that looks easy to wear. Every service starts with a consultation, after which the stylist shapes a plan for that client. The salon says it chooses clean, caring products with hair, health and the environment in mind.

For color, the salon uses Kevin Murphy ammonia-free color, and L'Oréal and Redken Shades EQ are also available. Treatments include K18 for hair that is damaged or over-processed, Mr. Smith scalp treatments, and deep conditioning as an add-on. Styling options cover blow dries, hot tools, texture smoothing and extensions, and bridal styling and makeup is available. Fairfax is open Tuesday through Saturday, 9am to 6pm. San Anselmo is open seven days a week from 9am to 6pm and offers both indoor and outdoor seating. Appointments can be booked online, and gift cards are sold online in set amounts or a custom value. Cancellations and reschedules need at least 24 hours notice, while late cancellations, no-shows and arriving 15 minutes or more late can incur a 100% fee.
