Chemical services follow safety steps. Patch tests are offered to every client and are best requested at least 48 hours before a chemical service, though a negative result does not rule out a reaction. Clients with scalp irritation, redness, inflammation or open wounds should not book chemical services, and the salon may postpone or decline one if it sees a safety concern. Chemical services require a signed service agreement before and after the appointment, and clients under 18 need a parent or guardian present.
