A visit begins with a consultation, in the office or by video call. Dr. Regina Rodman reviews the options with the patient, then the chosen procedure and any follow-up visits are scheduled. When it makes medical and aesthetic sense, procedures may be staged so the changes with the most visible impact come first. Out-of-town patients can have a video consultation and send photos ahead of the visit. A patient care coordinator helps with travel, lodging and post-operative care through all-inclusive packages. Most out-of-town patients stay in a recovery house or an Airbnb and plan on about two weeks in Houston. Surgeries longer than 8 hours, and rhinoplasty combined with jaw or chin surgery, require an overnight stay, and procedures needing more than 10 hours may be split into two sessions a week apart. Patients need a responsible adult to sign them out after surgery and cannot leave alone by rideshare after general anesthesia. Post-operative visits are planned around days 1, 6, 10 and 14, with extra visits available as needed. Dr. Rodman is an out-of-network provider and does not bill or accept insurance.
