Eye care covers routine exams and diabetic eye exams, where a digital retinal scan can be used in place of full dilation at the yearly exam. The clinic fits contact lenses, including specialty lenses, and patients can order and reorder lenses through an online portal linked to their doctor. Medical eye emergencies are seen the same day, and the clinic lists a separate line for emergencies, 253-444-2800. Specialized testing, LASIK and cataract services are also listed. Non-urgent appointments can be requested by phone or through the website message form, and a receptionist then confirms a time. Referral forms sent through the contact form are scheduled by phone within three business days.

Office hours are Monday and Thursday 8:00am to 5:00pm, and Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 8:00am to 4:00pm. Saturdays are by appointment only, and the clinic is closed on Sundays. The main phone number is (253) 780-0700.

The clinic accepts most major insurance plans, though some plans or groups may need a referral or may be out of network. VSP, Davis Vision, EyeMed and MetLife vision discount plans are out of network, and the clinic can bill them at an out-of-network rate for reimbursement. It is not contracted with Molina, WellPoint, UHC Dual Complete, UHC Community Plan or Washington Apple Health. Patients without insurance, or who pay themselves, are offered a discount. Coverage varies widely, so patients are asked to call for plan details.

The Dry Eye Center's first visit includes a questionnaire review, Oculus 5M imaging, an evaluation of the eyelids and blinking, a tear breakup time measurement, meibography and a detailed written report. The initial evaluation usually takes 60 to 90 minutes and may include non-dilating drops. Patients are asked not to wear eye makeup or use dry eye treatments on the day of an evaluation or treatment. Treatments include iLux, IPL, LipiFlow, Lacrifill, ZEST and low-level light therapy, and a Dry Eye Refresher is listed at $60.

Personalized eye care that uses current technology, with a comprehensive eye exam offered to every patient. The clinic points out that a refraction or health screening does not replace a full exam.
