Hillary Faye Design was founded in 2011 and works from a unit on Cherry Avenue in Sumner. The studio focuses on personal designer cuts and dimensional color. It describes itself as a warm, welcoming space where clients can take their time and be heard.

Appointments are relaxed and personal. The studio starts with what matters to each client and shapes the visit around their style, daily routine and plans. Clients can book individual or group appointments online, along with product purchases, packages and gift cards.

Hours are Monday and Thursday from 7:30am to 11:30am, and Tuesday and Friday from 11:30am to 7:30pm. Reservations require a 50% deposit. The deposit is non-refundable if the appointment is cancelled within 24 hours of the service, and otherwise can be applied to a future reservation. Listed prices are starting points and may change.

The menu is grouped into luxurious combinations of color with cut and style, luxurious color, cuts and styling, blonding and dimensional color, extensions, and add-on services. Hairstory products are sold through the website.

Each look is designed around the client, pairing hands-on craft and creativity with open conversation so the result fits how the person lives.
