Cooley Hair Center
Med spa in Charlotte, NC
Cooley Hair Center is a hair restoration practice on Park Road in Charlotte, North Carolina, in the Pineville Medical Plaza next to CMC-Pineville Hospital, at the corner with Pineville-Matthews Road. A parking garage adjoins the building. The office is open Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The practice serves patients from across the Carolinas, other parts of the United States and abroad, and areas such as Raleigh, Greensboro, Columbia and Charleston. Hilton Garden Inn Charlotte/Pineville is about 1.5 miles away, Hampton Inn Charlotte/Pineville about 2 miles, and Marriott Charlotte SouthPark about 3 miles. Surgical work includes both follicular unit extraction (FUE) and follicular unit transplantation (FUT). FUE removes individual follicles and leaves no linear scar, so the clinic points to it for patients who wear their hair short or are having a first transplant. Non-surgical care includes finasteride and minoxidil 5.0% to address ongoing hair loss and support regrowth after a transplant. PRP therapy uses the patient's own blood and is offered on its own or alongside surgery. Exosome therapy includes ExosomesDUO, which pairs stem cell derived exosome injections with Alma DUO shock wave treatment and takes about an hour under local anesthesia. Scalp reduction and CVG repair are available for cutis verticis gyrata. Virtual consultations are free and are often completed before an in-person visit. They cover the hair loss pattern, donor area density and goals, and end with a treatment recommendation and cost estimate. In-person consultations are usually booked two to three months out, and surgery is typically scheduled six to twelve months after that because of demand. Financing is available through a loan inquiry form, and patients can pay online.

Prefers FUT for most patients and uses FUE for small fill-ins and repairs. Each patient's hair loss is examined for its cause and pattern before any treatment is recommended.
