Dr. Jerry Cooley

Dr. Jerry Cooley is a hair transplant surgeon and the hair restoration physician at Cooley Hair Center, where FUT surgery is offered. He is a board-certified dermatologist and an ABHRS Diplomate, and he was president of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery in 2011. In 2008 he received the ISHRS Platinum Follicle Award. He is one of the leading hair transplant surgeons in North Carolina. He lectures often at hair transplantation conferences and has written numerous articles and textbook chapters in the field. He has directly contributed to research on PRP for hair loss. His work includes scalp reduction for CVG and PRP therapy. He recommends a combination of Rogaine and Propecia for longer-term results, and he follows current hair loss science so patients can access newer treatments.
