Dr. Jerry Cooley, MD

Dr. Jerry Cooley, MD is a physician and hair restoration surgeon at Cooley Hair Center and holds the ABHRS Diplomate designation. He has used injection-based treatments for thinning hair for about 15 years. He began PRP treatments in 2008, and in 2010 combined PRP with ACell, a treatment he performed for about ten years. He started using stem cell derived exosomes in 2019 and now recommends them to most patients, and in 2023 began pairing exosome injections with the Alma DUO device.

He has worked on hair cloning research for many years, first with InterCytex and now with its successor, HairClone. He performs FUE, FUT, PRP and exosome restoration, and he has developed FUT technique refinements that reduce how visible the linear scar is. He has more than 25 years of surgical experience, including over 25 years of FUT surgery. He served as ISHRS President in 2011 and received the Platinum Follicle Award.
