The lash menu starts with classic extensions, set individually onto each natural lash, and volume extensions, where three to four micro lashes go on each natural lash in Natural Volume, Full Volume or Glam Volume looks. Hybrid sets combine both styles. Colored extensions come in red, pink, purple, green and blue, and individual lashes and real mink lashes are also offered. Lash lifts, lash tints, crystal and color add-ons, and removal of extensions applied elsewhere round out the lash services. Makeup artistry covers bridal, photo shoot and airbrush work and appointments for actors and actresses, with wedding eye makeup in half-day or full-day options and free consultations for weddings and bridal parties. Nail services include French manicures, pedicures, designer nails, nail art, and acrylic and gel nails.
A visit usually opens with a consultation to plan the look. A brand-new lash set takes about two hours, while refill appointments take 45 to 60 minutes and are recommended every three to four weeks. Clients are asked to arrive 15 to 20 minutes early with clean, makeup-free eyes and lashes and to remove contact lenses. Lashes should stay dry for 48 hours after application, and oil-based products and waterproof mascara are not recommended. Appointments can be booked seven days a week between 9am and 9pm. Reserving has no fee and the card on file is not charged for the reservation. Cancellations need 24 hours notice, and later cancellations are charged the full appointment price.
Clients who have had at least five visits receive 50% off a lash fill or full set, and a loyalty card is available from the front desk with no membership required. Services are not refundable, but clients unhappy with a cosmetic service can contact the salon within three days of their first appointment for a fix. Extensions applied poorly at another salon can be removed and replaced, a removal that takes about 20 to 30 minutes. The salon says its lash services are performed by licensed eyelash specialists, estheticians or cosmetologists. The Skokie studio offers a one-day eyelash extension course for licensed cosmetologists and estheticians, with 6 CEU credits, a premium lash kit, lunch and a certificate of completion. The course costs $899, or $799 paid in full, and one-day classes are limited to two students. The salon is hiring licensed cosmetologists and estheticians and considers beauty school graduates, with applications accepted by email.
Work starts with a consultation to plan the look, and each extension is set near the root of the natural lash with the lash line shaped for a natural finish.
