A first visit starts with a consultation about hair history, lifestyle and goals, and a digital intake form can be completed beforehand. Appointments are unhurried and individual. The studio describes itself as a calm, judgment-free space where clients can simply be themselves, and after each visit clients receive a follow-up message with at-home care tips and product suggestions.

Curly and wavy cutting is a core specialty. The signature Deva Cut is a dry, curl-by-curl haircut on the natural pattern, followed by a wash, conditioning and styling. It takes roughly 50 to 75 minutes including consultation, cutting, drying and a styling lesson, and it costs more than a traditional wet cut because the method is slower. Clients are asked to arrive with hair detangled and falling naturally, without a ponytail, braid, bun, clips or hat.

Color services cover root touch-ups, glazed root touch-ups, face-frame highlights, partial and full head highlights, and hand-painted balayage, with dimensional tone and seamless gray coverage among the stated strengths. Most color services come with a recommended interval between maintenance visits so clients can plan ahead. Conditioning treatments can be added to any service or booked alone, and an Olaplex treatment is available for repair and strength. Blowouts can be added to an appointment but are not included with color or treatments.

Booking is done through an online system, and clients receive a confirmation email 48 hours before the appointment plus reminders with date, time and parking details. Parking is metered street parking on Station Street and Kent Street, with two public lots at the top of Kent Street. Major credit cards, Apple Pay, check and cash are accepted. Tips are not expected but are appreciated and can be added at checkout by card or paid in cash.
