Desiree Artu is the owner stylist at Blank Canvas Hair Studio and has more than 20 years of experience behind the chair. Her clients often have busy schedules and want polished, versatile looks, and she welcomes clients with curly or wavy hair who want their texture cut and styled.

Her specialties are wavy and curly hair, dimensional highlights and seamless gray coverage. For wavy and curly cuts she relies on dry cutting, adjusted to each client's texture and density, and for color she offers hand-painted balayage and foil highlights.

She keeps her skills current through ongoing advanced education, with trips each year to sharpen her cutting and color work.
