New extension clients must complete this step before booking an installation, and a $200 retainer is taken at the end of the consultation to hold the installation appointment. The consultation fee is not applied to that appointment. Clients can also arrange a virtual pre-consultation by texting the concierge line.

Color visits begin with a consultation that covers goals, color history and concerns, so the studio can build a plan for each client. Services are planned around hair integrity, lifestyle and maintenance preferences, and each step is explained so clients understand why it is done.
