Be.NYLA is a boutique team that brings hair and makeup to the client, working at homes and venues across Los Angeles and Southern California. The team reports more than 20 years of experience across high-end bridal work, editorial projects and New York Fashion Week. Its focus is skin-forward, polished beauty that feels natural rather than heavy, suited to weddings, small celebrations and elopements.

The team coordinates hair and makeup across the whole wedding day timeline, including destination elopements. Clients are advised to begin their search six to eight months before the wedding date, and the team usually books four to six months ahead. A signed contract and a deposit secure the date. Bookings are made by submitting an inquiry form, and a custom quote follows within 48 hours. Each inquiry starts with an initial consultation before booking.

Before the wedding, the process includes a moodboard and hair and makeup inspiration session, which takes about 10 to 15 minutes. A trial is recommended but not required, ideally four to six months before the wedding. A trial runs about 3.5 hours for hair and makeup together, or 2 hours for either one alone. On the day, the bride is allotted 45 minutes per person and one hour for her own service, and touch-ups can be added for an additional rate.

Makeup is offered in airbrush or traditional form, with both set using primer and a setting spray or powder. Airbrush makeup is applied with a compressor-powered gun and is intended to have a semi-matte finish. False lashes are included for the bride and bridal party, and the team offers strip, end and individual lash options. Lash extensions are not offered.

Travel to clients' homes and venues is charged by location and distance, per booking and per artist. A second artist is on site for bookings of 10 or more services, and a fee applies for a second artist if that minimum is not met. The team has traveled as far as the Bahamas for work. Hairstyling does not include a full blowout; clients should arrive with clean, dry hair, and an additional blow dry fee applies.
