Janet Miranda

Janet Miranda owns Be.NYLA in Los Angeles and has worked in hair and makeup since early 2000. Her training started at the Vidal Sassoon Academy, followed by three years as an apprentice at a high-end Los Angeles salon. She later completed further training with MAC Cosmetics and Redken in New York City. She has spent five seasons on New York Fashion Week and one season on Project Runway. Clients have included Armani Exchange, Neutrogena and Pantene. Her work has appeared in Brides Magazine, CBS, 100 Layer Cake, Style Me Pretty, Green Wedding Shoes, W Magazine and Elle Japan. Bridal hair and makeup is her main focus. She works to refine a client's natural look so the bride remains recognizably herself on her wedding day.
