The salon's approach centers on a safer way to care for hair and skin. It aims to keep the space as natural and free of chemicals as it can, which it describes as especially useful for clients with chemical sensitivities, and it works to keep the environment as non-toxic as possible to help reduce the chance of allergic reactions. Hair color is ammonia-free throughout the menu, using the Organic Colour Systems permanent color. Color services run from retouches and all-over color to partial and full highlights, partial and full balayage, and bleach and tone. Stylists work only with products that the salon says contain organic and natural ingredients and that are free of parabens, sodium lauryl sulfate, PEGs, ethanolamines, phthalates and fragrance. The products are also not tested on animals.

Hair care is carried through Kavella, which the salon describes as cruelty free, vegan and non-toxic. Skin care is carried through Ultra Aesthetics, described as natural and chemical free, with sulfur-rich MSM and alpha lipoic acid. Eyebrow, lip, chin and facial hair removal are also available.

Clients are asked not to wear perfume or other strong fragrances to the salon. Free consultations are offered, and cancellations need at least 48 hours' notice to avoid a fee. Cancelled or missed appointments are charged 50% of the scheduled service price, except when the cancellation is due to illness.
