Gabby opened August and Arlo in 2022 and owns it. The salon describes itself as a hair sanctuary, and its space is set up to support the creativity and independence of the stylists who work there.

Each stylist runs their own book. Clients choose a stylist and book through that stylist's individual booking link. The salon is open Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with Saturday hours that vary, and it is closed on Sundays.

The team covers color, cutting and extensions, with stylists focusing on areas such as lived-in color, blonding, dimensional brunettes, razor cuts and curly hair. The salon carries Davines, Shibui and Unite hair care, and the site lists retail prices including $42 for 7seconds detangler, $40 for Invisible dry shampoo, $24 for Dream coat for curly hair, $25 for Shibui Ultra Hydrating Shampoo and $42 for Texturiza.
