Alex's Hair Therapy is a solo studio run by Alexandria Bari, known to clients as Alex. She has worked in the beauty industry since 2009 and has run her own studio since 2013. The suite is in Cary, near the vending machines and Kabuki Japanese Steakhouse.

The studio is open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 9am to 4pm. Bari previously worked five to six days a week and now works only on weekends. Clients book by calling or texting her cell phone or by email. Services can be browsed on Vagaro, but appointments are made directly with her. Booking a few weeks ahead is suggested outside holidays and busy seasons, and prices may vary with time and the products used. Pay Later is available on services over $200.

The menu covers color and cut packages, color only, blonding, vivid and rainbow colors, grey coverage, haircuts (including a kids cut for children under 10), blowouts and styling, perms and smoothing, hair and scalp treatments, extensions, facial waxing, and eyebrow and eyelash tinting. Extensions use only 100% human hair and require contacting the stylist before booking because they are a more involved service. Bari does not offer event styling such as updos.
