At the start of each service the stylist talks with the client about their goals and preferences. Shampoo and conditioning are included with most services. Clients are offered a drink, their choice of music, and a snack when one is available.

Extension services require a deposit covering the cost of the hair. Clients may bring their own extension hair, though the studio only guarantees the quality of hair it supplies, and color results are not always guaranteed on client-supplied hair. Removing extensions requires a take-down appointment, which is booked at the time of the original booking. A late client should tell their stylist as soon as possible, and a delayed start means add-on services are forfeited. Payment is accepted by cash, Cash App, PayPal, Venmo, Apple Pay and major credit cards, and credit cards must match the appointment holder's ID unless the cardholder is under 18.
