Ndi Akpan

Ndi Akpan owns and operates Akpan Artistry, the hair services business at 955 D St SW. Training began with a cosmetology program at Paul Mitchell The School, with an early advance to Phase 2. After school, training continued at an Aveda-focused salon in Washington, DC, where hair extension experience was built. Academic background includes a B.S. in Marketing from Albany State University and an MBA completed at the University of the District of Columbia in 2020. Earlier, service in the United States Marine Corps, reaching the rank of Sergeant, was followed by work as an account manager at XO Communications in Nashville, Tennessee. Interest in finding solutions for women and men experiencing hair loss.
