Adrift describes itself as a modern hair salon and private skin studio. The salon side has a modern, coastal feel with current music, and conversation is welcome or quiet appointments can be requested. The private spa side is dimly lit and quiet, with its own separate waiting area. While waiting or while color processes, guests can have a hot coffee or tea with a bakery treat or healthy snack, and guest wifi is available.

Stylists work at three levels, Rising, Signature and Elite, and starting prices rise with each level. A Signature Haircut starts at $45 with a Rising stylist, $55 with a Signature stylist and $65 with an Elite stylist, and a Men's Haircut or Clipper Cut starts at $30 for all ages. Child haircut pricing varies by age. Color services include modern blonding from a few foils to major transformations, traditional color such as root and grey coverage and full root-to-end color, and dimensional color ranging from a Mini Dimensional to a Transformational Dimensional. A Partial Dimensional covers about half the head. Prices are starting points and may change for hair length, density or service complexity. The salon describes Elite stylists as having extensive experience and advanced certifications.

Facials are offered as a 50-minute facial for $95 or a 90-minute facial for $150. Named options include the Whipped Pumpkin Mousse Clarifying Enzyme Facial, a deep-cleaning treatment, the Wine + Chocolate Me Time Transformational Facial, the A Moment in Thyme Anti-Aging + Hydrating Facial, which is gluten free, and the Illuminated Moon Brightening Facial. A customizable 35-minute Adrift Express Facial is $55. Add-ons include Bright Eyes, mint mistletoe kisses, chilled avocado facial globes, a Hair's to You scalp add-on, a Honey Glaze hand and foot treatment and Delightfully Depuffed. Brazilian Blowout starts at $200 with Rising stylists and $250 with Signature or Elite stylists. It coats the hair with a protein layer to reduce frizz and smooth the cuticle, and results last up to four months or more. An Express version lasts four to six weeks.

Bookings can be made through the MeGo Client app on iPhone or Android. At least 48 hours notice is requested for cancellations and rescheduling. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice, no-shows and arrivals more than 15 minutes late are charged 50 percent of the scheduled service to the card on file. Cash, check, Venmo, Apple Pay, Google Pay and credit cards are accepted, and a $25 fee applies to returned checks. Gratuities can be added to credit card payments. Only children receiving services are allowed on the salon floor.

Facials are designed by a skin professional around each client's needs and concerns, and hair color uses an ammonia-free line built on natural, organic essences.
