721SALON opened in 2016 and was created by owner Sal Gonzalez. It operates from two Los Angeles addresses, one at 877 Francisco St Suite 10 and one at 612 S Flower St.

The studio presents itself as a concept space with a lively, trendy feel for clients who want something a little different from a standard barbershop or salon visit. Its stated goal is to give each client full attention in a relaxed setting, and to be a place where people feel at home.

The salon's view is that a haircut should reflect the individual, taking into account a person's style and facial structure. A typical haircut runs about 45 minutes to an hour and includes a consultation, a shampoo and conditioner, a scalp massage, and the cut and style.
