Troy J. Andreasen

Troy J. Andreasen, M.D., is a board certified plastic surgeon, certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, and holds an Associate Clinical Professor appointment in the Loma Linda University Department of Plastic Surgery. His training began with a general surgery residency, followed by a plastic surgery residency, both at Loma Linda University. For medical school he attended the University of Utah School of Medicine, graduating at the top of his class and receiving that school's highest achievement award. He built his microsurgical skills there under hand surgeon Graham Lister. His training also includes cleft lip and palate repair and burn surgery. He has operated a private practice since 2001. After many years performing plastic surgery at hospitals across the Inland Empire, he opened his own surgery center in Ontario, California, designed to his specifications, including its operating theatres and recovery bays. Breast and body procedures are the focus of the practice, with breast augmentation, implant placement and implant exchange making up much of his work. According to the practice, he performs over 400 breast procedures each year. Patients considering breast augmentation can talk through implant material, incision type and placement at consultation, and he uses incision techniques aimed at reducing scarring. Earlier, while at Loma Linda, he led the university's Good Samaritan plastic surgery work in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. He belongs to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the California Society of Plastic Surgeons, and NOVO, the National Council of Leaders in Breast Aesthetics. The practice calls him one of the leading surgeons in the Inland Empire and says his specialty is breast surgery.
