Rosannah Velasquez, MD

Rosannah Velasquez, MD, is a dermatologist at AVIVA Dermatology in Houston, where she practices general, surgical and cosmetic dermatology. She is fluent in Spanish. She studied at the University of Texas-Pan American, graduating summa cum laude, and received her medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine on a full academic scholarship through the UTPA/BCM Premedical Honors College. Her internship in internal medicine took place at the University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington, Vermont, and she then started anesthesiology training at Baylor. She moved to dermatology during the final year of that training, completed a dermatology residency at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, and afterward returned to Houston. She aims to bring approachable, relatable skin care to the Hispanic community.
