Dr. Simone Stalling, MD, PhD, FAAD

Dr. Simone Stalling, MD, PhD, FAAD is a board-certified dermatologist and the owner of AVIVA Dermatology in Houston. She earned a bachelor's degree in engineering with a focus in chemical engineering, summa cum laude, from the University of Maryland Baltimore County, then completed dual doctorates in medicine and bioengineering at the University of Pennsylvania.

She completed a medical internship at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia and a three-year dermatology residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. During residency she worked in the Skin Cancer and Pigmented Lesion Clinic, the Hair and Nail Clinic and the Veterans Residency Clinic. Teaching from Dr. Suzan Obagi during that residency shaped her interest in cosmetic dermatology.

She practiced dermatology in Tyler, Texas for four years before serving the Houston community. Her focus includes diagnosing complex skin conditions using technology and surgical techniques, along with cosmetic treatments. She was interviewed on the Pathways podcast about her work.
