Dr. David Amron

Dr. David Amron founded The Roxbury Institute in Beverly Hills in 2015 and is its founder and medical director. He is a board-certified dermatologic surgeon, certified by the American Board of Dermatology, and holds a dermatologic surgery subspecialty board certification. He earned a biology degree from the University of California San Diego. The practice's website cites more than 25 years of experience.

Lipedema is the central focus of his work. He developed the Advanced Lipedema Treatment method, founded the ALT program at the institute, and designed a three-dimensional, lymphatic-sparing liposuction approach for lipedema. His listed expertise spans lipedema reduction surgery, advanced liposuction, mini-lipo, revision and tumescent liposuction, body contouring, liposculpture and cosmetic liposculpture, complex case management, and clinical research and protocol development. The institute calls him the pioneer of lipedema surgery in the United States and a global leader in his field. He wrote Liposculpture and Lipedema Surgery: A Guide for the Patient and Pearls for the Surgeon, published in 2023, which the institute says became an Amazon best seller. He starred in Netflix's Celebrity Plastic Surgeons of Beverly Hills. Media coverage includes the Wall Street Journal in 2023 and the Los Angeles Times in 2020. He holds memberships in the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, the American Society for Liposuction Surgery and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery.
