About

Dr. Cuzalina founded Tulsa Surgical Arts and practices there as one of its six cosmetic surgeons in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He co-directs the practice's fellowship with James Koehler, MD, DDS, and also serves as fellowship director. He earned a BS in physiology from Oklahoma State University in 1987, a DDS from Baylor College of Dentistry in 1991, where he ranked second in a class of 82, and an MD from the University of Alabama School of Medicine in 1995. He then completed an oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at UAB, serving as chief resident from 1996 to 1997, followed by a general cosmetic surgery fellowship in Abilene, Texas, under Howard A. Tobin, MD.

He focuses on rhinoplasty, deep plane facelift, complex revision surgery and total-body contouring, and he directs the rhinoplasty curriculum of the practice's fellowship. The site says he has performed, taught and written about rhinoplasty for nearly three decades, and a published profile cites more than 18,000 procedures. His consultation fee is listed at $200. The site says the fellowship is one of only 16 general cosmetic surgery fellowships in the U.S. listed by ABCS.

He co-wrote Revision Rhinoplasty (2012), Rhinoplasty for the Cleft Lip and Palate Patient (2016) and Challenging Rhinoplasty for the Cleft Lip and Palate Patient (2021), and guest-edited Elsevier's Rhinoplasty: Current Therapy. He is also a section editor of The American Journal of Cosmetic Surgery. According to his CV, he served as president of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery from 2011 to 2012, as past president of the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery, and as president of the Cosmetic Surgery Foundation from 2016 to 2018. He co-chaired the Body Procedures Cadaver Workshop at AACS 2026. The site describes him as an SRC Master Surgeon in Specialized Cosmetic Surgery for Face and Neck and for Trunk, Breast and Extremities, recognized in 2021, and says he received the Physician Surgical Innovator of the Year award at THE Aesthetic Show in 2018.
