Dr. Angelo Cuzalina

Dr. Angelo Cuzalina founded Tulsa Surgical Arts and directs its cosmetic surgery fellowship. A published profile credits him with more than 18,000 procedures, and he has performed, taught and written about rhinoplasty for nearly three decades. Consultations with him are $200.

His training began with a BS in physiology from Oklahoma State University in 1987, followed by a DDS from Baylor College of Dentistry in 1991 and an MD from the University of Alabama School of Medicine in 1995. He completed an oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at UAB, where he was chief resident in 1996 to 1997, and then a general cosmetic surgery fellowship in Abilene, Texas, under Howard A. Tobin, MD. He is board certified by the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery, recertified in 2010 and 2020, and certified by the American Board of Facial Cosmetic Surgery and the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

He has led several professional bodies, serving as president of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery from 2011 to 2012, president of the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery in 2013, and president of the Cosmetic Surgery Foundation from 2016 to 2018 according to his CV. He is a section editor for The American Journal of Cosmetic Surgery, a textbook editor, and co-directs one of the 16 ABCS-listed general cosmetic surgery fellowships in the U.S. with James Koehler, MD, DDS. The site also lists an SRC Master Surgeon designation from 2021 and says he was named Physician Surgical Innovator of the Year at THE Aesthetic Show in 2018. He co-chairs the Body Procedures Cadaver Workshop at AACS 2026.
