About

Angelo Cuzalina founded Tulsa Surgical Arts in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he also directs the practice's cosmetic surgery fellowship. He holds MD and DDS credentials. He earned a bachelor's degree in physiology from Oklahoma State University in 1987, a Doctor of Dental Surgery from Baylor College of Dentistry in 1991, and a medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine in 1995. The site says he ranked second of 82 in his dental school class. He then completed an oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at UAB, serving as chief resident from 1996 to 1997, followed by a general cosmetic surgery fellowship in Abilene, Texas, under Howard A. Tobin.

He holds certification from the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery (2000, recertified in 2010 and 2020), the American Board of Facial Cosmetic Surgery (2015), and the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (2000, recertified in 2010). He has performed rhinoplasty for nearly three decades, and a published profile puts his procedure count above 18,000. His focus areas are rhinoplasty, deep plane facelift, complex revision surgery and total-body contouring. Rhinoplasty is central to the fellowship he directs.

He co-wrote Revision Rhinoplasty (2012), Rhinoplasty for the Cleft Lip and Palate Patient (2016) and Challenging Rhinoplasty for the Cleft Lip and Palate Patient (2021), and guest-edited Elsevier's Rhinoplasty: Current Therapy. According to his CV, he was president of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery in 2011 and 2012, president of the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery in 2013, and president of the Cosmetic Surgery Foundation from 2016 to 2018. He is a section editor for The American Journal of Cosmetic Surgery, has edited a textbook on cosmetic surgery, and co-chairs the Body Procedures Cadaver Workshop at the 2026 AACS meeting. He supervises the physicians in TSA Wellness programs and owns and operates Oklahoma Surgical Arts in Oklahoma City. The site says he was named SRC Master Surgeon in Specialized Cosmetic Surgery in 2021 and received the Physician Surgical Innovator of the Year award from THE Aesthetic Show in 2018.
