Booking begins with a consultation call, followed by a contract and a 50% nonrefundable retainer that secures the date. Once the contract is signed, the number of booked services cannot go down, and added services should be requested at least four to six months ahead, depending on availability. Brides have booked up to 18 months in advance. A bridal preview or trial is usually scheduled a few months before the wedding, and trials and previews take place at the Bridgeport studio.
On the day, the team builds a detailed beauty schedule with time slots for the bride and her party and sends a hair and makeup guide ahead of time. Bridal hair and makeup styles include soft glam, glam waves, updos, full glam, natural glam and half up/half down. If an artist or stylist cannot attend because of illness or an emergency, a replacement is sent. Clients are asked to provide a clean workspace with an outlet and natural light for on-site services, and the team brings the products and equipment it needs.
Outside weddings, the business offers a la carte sessions for maternity photoshoots, gala and work events, professional headshots, boudoir, engagement photoshoots and editorial work.
