Modern Wave Salon is a full-service beauty salon at 741 West 26th Street in the Bridgeport neighborhood of Chicago. The salon describes itself as a destination for beauty and self-care, and its menu covers hair, color, extensions, nails, waxing and makeup.

The salon is an exclusive Redken and Matrix salon. Its color and balayage specialists and nail technicians have been trained by Redken artists, and the stylists take part in a continuing education program.

Color services can begin with a consultation, which is used to plan the work and pair the client with a stylist. Clients book online and must agree to the appointment policies when they do. Toner services do not include a blow-dry. The salon is open Wednesday through Saturday and closed on Mondays, Tuesdays and Sundays.

Education is part of the routine: stylists continue their training, team members attend industry classes, and guest artists are brought in to teach in-salon workshops.
