Owner Kate Chastain has provided waxing since 2007, beginning with a career that started in the UK and continued at salons across New England and the Midwest. In 2016 she moved back to New Hampshire and worked at a spa in Peterborough before opening Wildflower Wax Studio, which focuses on waxing.

The studio sees one client at a time and takes bookings online only, since the owner cannot answer the phone during appointments. A card must be held on file through the website. Hours are Monday and Tuesday from 9 am to 5 pm and Wednesday and Thursday from 11 am to 7 pm, with Friday and Sunday closed.

Prices run from $15 for a patch wax to $375 for a full body wax, which takes about three hours and covers the face, neck, chest, stomach, Brazilian area, full legs and arms, back and bum. The Brazilian/Hollywood bikini wax includes the backside, and clients can leave a patch or strip or have all the hair removed. A traditional bikini wax usually removes hair about two to three inches in from the thigh crease, while the modest option covers the area from the crease outward. The Brazilian bikini wax is offered to women only.

Parking is available along the building and the adjacent stone wall. Early arrivals can wait in the area down the hall by the elevator. Children may come along to appointments if needed, and other businesses also operate in the building. Students and faculty receive 20% off services.
