The team is made up of master colorists and stylists, and Heather Lucas, the Education Director, coordinates advanced training across the salon.

A visit begins with a consultation. Every appointment starts with a conversation about the guest's goals and a clear price quote before any color is applied. New guests are encouraged to book a color consultation first, online or by phone. Stylists track and save each guest's color formula, and cancellations need at least 24 hours notice. Cancelled guests can be placed on a cancellation list, or matched with another stylist when a preferred one is booked. Prices vary by stylist, hair length, thickness and how complex the finished look is. Specialty color services can take roughly two to five hours of stylist time, so booking ahead is recommended.

Hand-painted balayage and lived-in color are among the main offerings. The West Coast Signature Balayage, priced from $388 to $448, is available only from Anna Hendrix-Carter. Gray coverage and gray blending are also central. Gray blending uses foil and balayage as an alternative to full gray coverage, and a gray transition path lifts color away gradually, typically over about three appointments. Modern Gray Coverage packages start at $132. A la carte highlights, root color and glaze are priced individually, and the full highlight package runs from $308 to $425.

Precision and French haircutting are offered. The Signature Haircut, priced from $61 to $109, blends French, British and American cutting techniques and is finished dry. HALOCOUTURE hair extensions, made of 100% Remy human hair, are custom quoted at consultation. The salon sells Bumble and bumble products through an online shop and offers gift certificates for every service, purchased online, by phone, by email or in person.

The salon describes its team as friendly, with conversation and laughter common in the salon. According to the salon, some guests travel from Georgia, Charleston and farther away to visit.

Every stylist trains under several master colorists rather than one, so techniques and experience are shared across the team. The salon says its pricing reflects the training of its Master Stylists and Education Director, and that every guest receives the same level of care regardless of stylist.
